James D. Moen is Pine Grove Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer and serves as Vice President on Pine Grove’s Board of Directors. A graduate of Winona State University, Jim has spent the last 34 years working in residential treatment. Jim began his career in Wisconsin working as an educator with autistic children and adolescents. The last 15 years Jim has served as an Executive for programs serving dually diagnosed children and adolescents in Wisconsin and South Carolina. An active advocate for children's rights, Mr. Moen was one of the co-founders of the South Carolina Children's coalition. He has served on the SC Department of Social Services Group Home Regulations Task Force, the SC Children's Behavioral Health Outcomes Study Group, Alternative Residency Advisory Committee, SC Association of Children and Family Services, Child Treatment Facility Provider's Committee (convened by the Division of Children's Services of the SC Governor's office), and the Children's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Workgroup.
