David S. Perhach, MSW

   David. S Perhach is the President and Chairman of the Board of Pine Grove, Inc. He has over 35 years of experience in the child welfare field. Perhach has been a passionate advocate for children since entering the field of social work in 1973. His life work has led from being a live-in group home parent with his wife and infant son to owning and running multi-state residential treatment centers. He opened new residential treatment programs in New Jersey, Indiana, Illinois and South Carolina. Mr. Perhach earned his masters degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1976 and continues to be licensed as an Independent Clinical Practitioner.

   Being of service through volunteer work continues to be another passion in Perhach’s life: from serving as president of the local Parent Teacher Association to president of a state association of residential treatment centers, the Wisconsin Association of Children and Family Agencies(WAFCA). In addition Dave has served on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Blood Center. Mr. Perhach currently sits on the planning commission in his hometown of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and was vice-president of the community’s school board for five years. He most recently accepted a position as a member of the board of Southeastern Youth and Family Services in Milwaukee WI., a non-profit agency serving severely disturbed adolescents.
